The Royal Mint has partnered with Penguin Ventures for a brand new commemorative 50p coin impressed by the literary character Peter Rabbit.
The brand new design will launch later this 12 months and have uncirculated, silver proof and gold proof 50p commemorative cash. Every coin depicts Peter Rabbit in his trademark blue jacket as he sneaks beneath a gate in the hunt for lettuce.
Cash are hand-painted within the fashion of Beatrix Potter’s authentic illustration. Each bit has been engraved by The Royal Mint’s coin designer, Emma Noble, to immortalize the mischievous rabbit on the 2020 model of the coin, which beforehand designed cash commemorating the 60th anniversary of The Queen’s coronation, Remembrance Sunday and King George I.

The 2020 Peter Rabbit commemorative 50p coin is on the market from www.royalmint.com, with costs ranging from £10. It is a commemorative coin and won’t be getting into common circulation.
